Using the Self-Timer

The picture will be taken 10 seconds after the shutter release button is
pressed.

Press the four-way controller (2) to
display g on the LCD monitor.

Press the shutter release button
down fully.
The self-timer is engaged and the self-timer
lamp lights. The picture is taken about 3
seconds after the self-timer lamp begins to blink.
• The number of seconds until the picture is taken will be displayed on
the LCD monitor.
• Pressing the four-way controller or the MENU button during the
countdown display will cancel the self-timer.
