Removing the Display Panel

1. Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page
2. Remove the display assembly (see "Removing the Display Assembly" on
page 73).
3. Remove the display hinge cover (see "Removing the Display Hinge Cover" on
page 76).
4. Remove the seven screws that secure the display panel to the display back
cover.
NOTE: Use a dry, lint-free, soft cloth while removing or replacing the
display panel, to avoid smudging the display panel.
5. Slide the display panel towards the display hinges, to release it from the
display back cover.
6. Lift the display panel up and move it towards the top of the display back
cover.
