REMOVING AND INSTALLING
GRINDING WHEELS
1. Depress the spindle lock button to
prevent the wheel form rotating.
2. Loosen the lock nut with the wrench
provided, and remove lock nut and dry
diamond cup wheel (fig. 2).

REPLACING BRUSH INSERT
1. With the dry diamond cup wheel
mounted, locate separation in brush insert.
2. Carefully begin prying and lifting brush
insert where separation begins, with a flat tip
screwdriver and remove brush insert (Fig. 3).
3. Carefully press new brush insert into
recess in guard until it stops on shoulder of
guard.
NOTE: Always be sure that the bristles on
the brush insert are not lying in the recess,
when installing the brush insert.

Assembly
3. Clean backing flange, spindle, lock nut,
and guard with brush insert.
4. Place new dry diamond cup wheel onto
the spindle. Depress spindle lock and thread
lock nut onto spindle, and securely tighten
lock nut with the wrench provided.
