30 THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
To prevent you from locking your Key Fob in the vehicle,
the power door lock switch will not operate when the
Key Fob is in the ignition and either front door is open. A
chime will sound as a reminder to remove the Key Fob.
Automatic Door Locks — If Equipped
The auto door lock feature can be enabled or disabled by
your authorized dealer. See your authorized dealer for
programming.
Automatic Unlock Doors on Exit
The doors will unlock automatically if:
1. The Automatic Unlock Doors On Exit feature is en-
abled
2. The transaxle was in gear and the vehicle speed
returned to 0 mph (0 km/h)
3. The transaxle is in NEUTRAL or PARK
4. The driver's door is opened
5. The doors were not previously unlocked
6. The vehicle speed is 0 mph (0 km/h).
Automatic Unlock Doors on Exit
If Auto Unlock is enabled, this feature will unlock all the
doors when the driver's door is opened if the vehicle is
stopped and in PARK or NEUTRAL. Refer to "Electronic
Vehicle Information Center (EVIC)/Personal Settings
(Customer-Programmable Features)" in "Understanding
Your Instrument Panel" for further information.
The doors will unlock automatically if:
1. The Automatic Unlock Doors On Exit feature is en-
abled
2. The transaxle was in gear and the vehicle speed
returned to 0 mph (0 km/h)
3. The transaxle is in NEUTRAL or PARK
4. The driver's door is opened
