capabilities.
This chapter provides sample sessions with step-by-step
instructions for using several more advanced TextBridge
functions.

This chapter uses the same sample documents described in
Chapter 5. Be sure to use the Get Pages button to select Image
File as the page source before you begin a sample session.

TextBridge supports a number of output formats for specific
applications, such as Microsoft Word, WordPerfect and Excel.
However, when recognizing documents for use in a database
application such as Microsoft Access™, it is best to choose a tab-
or comma-delimited text output format for import to the database
application.
Often, data that you want to scan and recognize for use in a
database appears as a table in your original document.
