TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE (VCR SIDE)
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The AC power cord is not
connected.
Cassette is not inserted.
Moisture has condensed
on the heads.
The video cassette's erase
prevention tab is broken off.
The video cassette's erase

The time is not set correctly.
The unit was not turned off or changed to
DVD mode after programming.
The unit was not turned off after

INDEX mark was recorded at

POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Connect the AC power cord to
the AC outlet.
Insert a video cassette.
Unplug and allow an hour or two
to dry out.
Place a piece of vinyl tape over
the hole.

Turn the unit off or change to DVD mode after program-
ming; the Timer indicator will appear in the display.
