TO SET THE TIMER PROGRAMMING

Enter the VCR mode and the Setup screen as described on
page 22; the Setup menu will appear. Scroll to Program Set
using the Navigation (†) button 1. Press the OK button 2
to select it; the Program menu will appear.
NOTE: You can press the PROGRAM button (VCR) to
entry the program menu directly while in VCR mode.
NOTE: For CABLE, to enter a channel number over "99", press the 100 button first, then enter the second and third digits of
the channel number; i.e., for Channel 105, press the 100 button, then press the "0" and "5" Number buttons.

Enter two digits for the month and two digits for the day
using the Number buttons. As each number is pressed, the
cursor will move to the right. When finished, the REC
CYCLE option will blink.
NOTE: After the date has been set, the day of the week (i.e.
Saturday) will appear next to it.

Press the Navigation (†) button 1 to cycle through the
source options (Antenna, Video 2, Video 1 or Cable), then
press the Navigation (®) button 1. If you selected VIDEO 1
or 2, go to the next step. If you selected ANTENNA or
CABLE, enter a channel number to timer record using the
Number buttons 2; the Start Date digits will blink.

Press the Navigation (†) button to cycle through the Record
cycle options (One Time, Daily, Weekdays or Weekly), then
press the Navigation (®) button; the Start Time hour digits
will blink.
One Time–record the set program once only.
Daily–record the program everyday according to the start
and end times.
Weekdays–record the program from Monday to Friday.
Weekly–record the program once a week.
