7. Using the numbers on the keypad, set the date. The character that is being changed
will be underlined. To move back a character, use the down arrow. To move forward a
character, use the up arrow. Select SET.

Review Event Log

The Base Unit will automatically log any changes in the system. The log will record the type
of change, the user or device that made the change, and the event date and time. On a
first in–first out basis, the event log will record a list of up to 90 events with the most recent
event listed first.
The main user may want to access this information for various reasons including to note
the time the system was armed or disarmed. Additionally, any intrusions or tampers will be
recorded with a date and time.

LOCATING THE EVENT LOG

The event log can be accessed ONLY by the master user for review.
1. Start at the main screen.
2. Select MENU or press MAIN MENU on the keypad.
3. Using the keypad, enter the master code.
4. Use the up and down arrows to scroll through the menu until the Review Events menu
is displayed. Select OK.
5. Use the up and down arrows to scroll through the events. The first is most recent and
continues through each event in reverse chronological order. When finished, select
BACK. The information will scroll across the screen.

DESCRIPTION OF EVENTS

The event is followed by date and time. For example, if the rear door has been opened the
following event will be displayed: "DEV 2 REAR DR: UNSECURED 01/01/04 12:34 AM".

Test

The Base Unit conducts periodic checks with the monitoring service. When the signal is
received by the monitoring service, the user may be notified.
Although the system will provide notification of a low battery or a device out of range, run
tests on a regular basis to verify the proper operation of the system.

RUNNING A TEST
Run a test on all devices and telecommunication connections. There are two ways to begin
the test: the Main Menu and the TEST button on the keypad.
Using the TEST Button on Keypad:
1. Press TEST on the keypad.
2. When the TEST button on the keypad is pressed, the test screen is displayed. Select OK.
3. Use the up and down arrows to scroll through the menu until the device or connection
to be tested is reached. Select TEST.
4. See the following instructions for details on each type of test.

4. Use the up and down arrows to scroll through the menu until the Test screen is dis-
played. Select OK.

to be tested is reached. Select TEST.

CELLULAR RADIO
CAUTION: When testing the system be prepared to:
1. Remain on the line and briefly explain to the dispatcher the reason for the call if con-
tacted by the monitoring service.
