    Heater becomes very hot when running stove. Keep children and adults away from hot surfaces to avoid burns or clothing ignition. Stove will remain hot for a time after shutdown. Allow surfaces to cool before touching. Carefully supervise young children when they are in the room with stove.

    The blower will shut off after the firebox temperature decreases. Note: It is safe to operate stove with blower turned off. How- ever, the blower helps distribute heated air from the stove. Note: Periodically check the louvers of the firebox and remove any dust, dirt, or other obstructions.

    INSPECTING BURNERS Check pilot flame pattern and burner flame patterns often. PILOT FLAME PATTERN Figure 23 shows a correct pilot flame pattern. Figure 24 shows an incorrect pilot flame pattern. ( Note: Appearance of pilot assembly may vary by model). The incorrect pilot flame is not touching the thermocouple.
