10 mm socket. Remove six (6) bolts and washers. Keep bolts and washers to reattach back panel later. Set gas log heater inside stove. Make sure control knob extension passes through bottom front opening (see Figure 15). -

NPT tap must be upstream from heater (see Figure 21, SVYD18PR and FSVYD18PR series, or Figure 22, page 13, SVYD18P and FSVYD18P series). IMPORTANT: Install equipment shutoff valve in an accessible location. The equip- ment shutoff valve is for turning on or shutting off the gas to the appliances. -
