• Do not try to light any appliance.
• Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any
phone in your building.
• Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor's
phone. Follow the gas supplier's instructions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire
department.
— Installation and service must be performed by a quali-
fied installer, service agency, or the gas supplier.
WARNING: This appliance must not be washed. Use of a pressure washer, water or liquid cleaning
solution on this appliance can cause severe personal injury or property damage due to water and/or
cleaning solution:
• In electrical components, connections and wires causing electrical shock or component failure.
• On gas control components causing corrosion which can result in gas leaks and fire or explosion
from the leak.
Appliance must be cleaned without being subjected to liquid spray or excessive wetting.

Space: Includes the room in which you will install appliance plus any adjoining rooms with doorless passageways or ventilation grills between the rooms.

When ventilating to an adjoining unconfined space, you must pro- vide two permanent openings: one within 12" of the ceiling and one within 12" of the floor on the wall connecting the two spaces (see options 1 and 2, Figure 2).

    INSPECTING BURNER Check pilot flame pattern and burner flame pattern often. PILOT FLAME PATTERN Figure 18 shows a correct pilot flame pat- tern. Figure 19 shows an incorrect pilot flame pattern. The incorrect pilot flame is not touching the thermocouple. This will cause the thermocouple to cool.
