A main cut off switch is provided inside the aft battery locker. This cut-off
switch disconnects the battery from the electrical system of your boat.
A switch panel with fuses are provided on the console for electrical
equipment. You can control the navigation lights, pole light and the bilge
pump. A fourth (blank) switch is provided for additional equipment.
Above is how your electrical switch panel looks like. Fuses are found in the
fuse holders below the switches. To replace, open the fuse holder with a
screw driver and close after installing a new fuse. Periodically check your
fuses and carry spares.
If a fuse consistently blows, please have your electrical circuitry checked
by a professional.
NorthStar 160 SC is equipped with a removable 360° Pole light that
satisfies the 1 meter rule of the COLREG which requires a minimum of 1
meter height difference between the navigation lights and the pole light.
