INSTALLATION
The SaphIR 862P Plasma Eye is installed into a circular hole 0.5" in diameter.
Remove the nut from the receiver's barrel. Insert the Eye (wire end first)
until the bezel is flush with the surface. Rethread the nut onto the barrel
until it is snug against the rear of the mounting surface. If necessary, use
one or both of the included washers for a more secure installation into soft
or thin materials.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The SaphIR 862P Plasma Eye receives IR signals from a handheld IR remote
control and relays these signals to the audio/video equipment for operation
from another room. Mounts through a circular hole with a diameter of 0.5",
requires a minimum clearance of 2.0" behind the face of the mounting sur-
face, and will mount in a panel with a maximum thickness of 1.75".

BEZEL EXCHANGE
The SaphIR 862P Plasma Eye comes with three bezels (white, black, brass) for
more installation color choices.
To remove the bezel, hold the barrel steady and upright and twist the bezel
until it clears the top of the barrel. Make sure the small tinted plasma filter
stays in place at the end of the barrel.
To replace the bezel, center the bezel over the filter and barrel, thread onto
the barrel end and twist until snug.
WIRE CONNECTIONS
Direct Connection from 862P Plasma Eye to Connecting Block
Connect the SaphIR 862P Plasma Eye to the 857 or equivalent connecting
block. Connect GND (GROUND), IR (SIGNAL) and Voltage (+12VDC ) to con-
nector on the 857.
