Page 4: Grounding Instructions
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS This stove is for use on 120 volts. The cord has a plug as shown in Figure 2. An adapter is available for connecting three-blade grounding-type plugs to two-slot receptacles. The green grounding lug extending from the adapter must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box. - Page 5 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Continued 2. When operating the remote control, it must be pointed at the logset inside the electric stove and a beep must be heard each time you press a function button. The beep con- firms the remote control is performing the function you have requested.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE WARNING: Always discon- nect power and allow the heater to cool before performing any cleaning, maintenance or reloca- tion of this heater. Turn controls to OFF and remove plug from outlet or turn off circuit breaker to heater.
