TIP: If you want more information, select an application, then click the
Properties button. A dialog box will display product name,
manufacturer, program type, as well as version information.
To activate or create configurations
McAfee Task Master also allow you to either create or set active an existing
Windows Startup configuration. This is particularly useful if you often use
game-related programs that require high-performance on your computer.
This feature allows you to preset what programs you want Windows to load
automatically during startup and save resources for just the applications you
selected to run. Your customized configurations can be saved and loaded on
demand, but Task Master will keep your previous configurations in case you
encounter a problem when loading.
After launching McAfee Task Master; click the Configurations tab:
• If creating a new configuration, click New. Follow the screen instructions
of the dialog box that will display.
• If activating an existing configuration, select from the drop-down menu;
then click Set Active.
• If you want to delete, remove or add, select from the text box; then click the
appropriate button displayed in the dialog box.
• Click Apply when finished.
