Lower Crossmember Kit Installation:
Subject:
Install lower frame rail crossmember kit to reduce frame rail deflection and movement.
Service Required:
1.
Install Crossmember between frame rails under tractor and aligned with the upright section of
frame rails as shown in figure 1.
2.
Using large C-Clamps clamp the crossmember uprigts to the frame rails. The bolts in the
crossmember will need to be loose when you do this, the holes for these bolts are slotted.
3.
Weld the uprights of the cross member to the upright of the frame rail on both sides. retighten the
bolts in cross member. Cleand welded are and repaint welded are and crossmember. 2 Cans
Spay Paint, High Gloss Black (Obtain Locally)
