Messages and How to React to Them

The following messages may be displayed by your navigation system.
p There are occasions when you may see
error messages other than those shown
here. In such a case, follow the instructions
given on the display.
Messages for navigation functions
Message
Irregular speed pulse signal
detected. Please power off
the system and check the in-
stallation. Then, please re-
boot the system and press
"OK".
Speed pulse not connected.
Calibration will start without
speed pulse. Accuracy is not
fully ensured without speed
pulse.
Vibration detected. Please
power off the system and
check the installation. Then,
please re-boot the system and
press "OK".
Direction of G sensor is not
correct. Please power off the
system and check the installa-
tion. Then, please re-boot the
system and press "OK".
Gyro Sensor is not working
properly. Please consult your
dealer or Pioneer service cen-
ter.
Positioning is not possible
due to the hardware. Please
contact your dealer or Pioneer
service center.
GPS antenna problem de-
tected. Please contact your
dealer or Pioneer service cen-
ter.
This function is not available
now.
The vertical installation angle
is changed. Gyro Sensor cali-
bration is re-initialized.
When
If the Navigation system does not re-
ceive the vehicle speed pulse.
The speed signal input (pink lead
wire) of the power cable is not con-
nected.
The navigation unit is installed in a
place where it may be affected by a
large vibration.
Direction of G sensor is set incor-
rectly.
Abnormal Gyrosensor output is de-
tected.
The location display is not possible
due to hardware failure.
The location display is not possible
due to failure of the GPS antenna.
The screen cannot be displayed with
Vehicle Dynamics Display. The sen-
sor has not been taught so the sen-
sor information cannot be acquired.
If the mounting angle of the naviga-
tion unit has been changed.
What to do (See)
Consult your Pioneer dealer.
To operate with 3D hybrid mode, connect the
speed signal input (pink lead wire) of the
power cable correctly.
Although it can be operated with Simple hy-
brid mode without connecting the speed sig-
nal input, the precision of the positioning will
be less accurate.
Re-install the navigation unit in a place where
the unit will not be affected by vibration.
See the Installation Manual and set the direc-
tion of the navigation unit correctly.
Write down the error code shown on the
screen. Turn off the power, and then contact
your nearest Pioneer service facility.
Consult your dealer.
Consult your dealer.
If the sensor learning status reaches the Sen-
sor Initializing, the system is ready to be
used.
The system initializes the sensor in order to
operate it with the maximum performance
and automatically starts re-learning.
