3 Remove the top mesh
filter and mesh cover
as shown I. Gently
brush the mesh clean.
The pleated filter can
be gently knocked
against the side of the
dustbin to remove
excess dust.
To refit the filter,
reassemble and locate
into the hole in the top of
the dust container.
• The filter should be regularly washed
in cold water and left to air dry before
inserting back into the machine.
IMPORTANT: Do not use detergents to
clean the filter. The filter must be thoroughly
dry before the machine is used.
A spare filter is provided.
IMPORTANT: The dust container will not
lock back onto the machine unless the filter
is fitted correctly.

Pre-motor filter

An additional pre-motor filter is located
underneath the dust compartment lid. Lift
up the lid, the filter is located to the rear.
