Firmware release notes
1. Voice over IP registration indicator and error codes
2. Error '482 loop detected' fixed. This error is caused if the modem loses DSL sync and
the ATA will then try to connect to the next available SIP server, obviously connection
will fail as there is no DSL sync. Once the DSL becomes active again the ATA no
longer sits waiting for user intervention to re-connect and the ATA will gauge DSL
sync and re-establish connectivity to the SIP server. -

From time to time Belkin releases new firmware which has enhancements or fixes to
the previous releases of firmware. Firmware resides on the networking product in
question and acts similar to an operating system on a computer.
This guide will explain the changes to the latest release of firmware for the ATA and
will also explain how to perform an upgrade in step by step format.

Type in your current password (or the default password of admin) then click LOGIN 4) On the left hand side of the screen click Advanced Setup 5) You will now be presented with more options in the menu on the left. Click Utilities then choose Firmware Update 6) Click the browse button, located in the centre of the screen 7) You will now be asked to browse for the file you downloaded earlier.
  • Page 4 NB – Progress bar will indicate the progress at the bottom of the screen in percentage. 9) Once the Firmware Update process has completed, you will need to restart the ATA by clicking the Restart ATA button When the prompt asks you to restart please click yes. The ATA will restart and take you back to the Login page.
