Displaying area messages

If you do not wish your phone to receive area messages, proceed as follows:

MENU
Press 1 5 1. The display on/off menus will be displayed.

Press 1 to turn display on or 2 to turn it off. A suitable confirmation screen will be shown and the view messages menu will be
displayed. Either make another selection from this menu or press C twice to return to the idle screen.

Edit area message type list

The edit area message type list facility has the following options:
Add a message type

Delete a message type
l
Add a message type
To add a message type to the list, proceed as follows:

MENU
Press 1 5 2. The first message type and its code in the list will be displayed.

Press 1. The message type entry screen will be displayed.
*
Enter the message type number and press the
option menu will be displayed. Either make another selection from this menu or press and hold C to return to the idle screen.
Deleting an area message type
To delete an area message type, proceed as follows:

MENU
Press 1 5 2. The first message type and its code in the list will be displayed.
