If the engine does not start.
Wait a few seconds and carry
out the COLD START proce-
dure again.
If necessary, remove the spark
plug and make sure it is not wet.
Clean and dry the spark plug if
wet.
Before refitting:
NOTE
PLACE A CLEAN CLOTH ON THE
CYLINDER NEXT TO THE SPARK
PLUG SEAT TO PROTECT IT FROM
POSSIBLE OIL SPLASHES.
Press the starter button «7» and make
the starter motor turn for about five sec-
onds, without accelerating.
STARTING AFTER PROLONGED IN-
ACTIVITY
If the vehicle has been inactive
for a long time, starting may be
delayed as the fuel supply circuit
may be partially empty.

In this case:

Wacht enkele seconden en voer
de procedure van de KOUDE
START opnieuw uit.
Verwijder eventueel de bougie,
en controleer of ze niet vochtig
is.
Wanneer de bougie vochtig is,
moet ze gereinigd en gedroogd
worden.
Vooraleer men ze hermonteert, handelt
men als volgt:

PLAATS EEN REIN DOEK OP DE CI-
LINDER, NABIJ DE ZIT VAN DE BOU-
GIE, TER BESCHERMING TEGEN
EVENTUELE OLIESPATTEN.
Druk op de startknop «7» en laat de start-
motor draaien voor ongeveer vijf secon-
den, zonder gas te geven.
START NA EEN LANGE INACTIVITEIT
Wanneer het voertuig voor lan-
ge tijd niet werd gebruikt, is het
mogelijk dat de start niet klaar is,
omdat het voedingscircuit van
de brandstof gedeeltelijk leeg
zou kunnen zijn.
In dit geval handelt men als volgt:
