What is Time Trip?
Time Trip uses certain fea-
tures of VariPhrase, and lets
you use your fi nger to control
a wave's playback position
and speed.
While holding down a note

on the keyboard, touch the
it
Time Trip pad; the currently-
sounding wave will stop playing. When you move your fi nger in a
clockwise circle, the wave will continue playing. If you move your
fi nger in a counter-clockwise circle, the wave will play backward.
This diff ers from "scratching" on a turntable in that you can con-
trol the playback without aff ecting the pitch, meaning that you
can play these sounds at specifi c pitches.
By moving your fi nger up/down/left/right on the

ton, the eff ect will be maintained even after
you take your fi nger away from the Time Trip
pad.
