Press the T side of the zoom button again to activate the
digital zoom.

Use the monitor to compose the picture in the digital zoom mode.

White area : Range of optical zoom magnification.
Red area
Pictures taken with the digital zoom may appear grainy.
Camera movement is likely to occur at higher magnifications. Stabilize the
camera with a tripod, etc. to avoid camera movement.
Turning off the monitor deactivates the digital zoom. When DIGITAL ZOOM
is set to ON, turning on the monitor automatically activates the digital zoom.
