Glossary
This section provides explanations of difficult terms used in this guide and
the electronic manual.
Administration node / Managed node
A "node" is a computer or device connected to the network. An
"administration node" is a server central in network management, and a
"managed node" is a server or client PC being managed by this server.

BMP
This is the Windows standard graphic file format. Color depth can be
specified from black and white (binary) images to full color (16,777,216
colors). Images generally are saved without compression, but for 16 and
256 color formats a compression option is available.

CSV file
This is a text data format where each database item is separated by a
comma. Generally databases created by spreadsheet software display 1
item of data per row (record) and columns display fields. The CSV file is
this data converted into a text format.
DNS server address
A "DNS server" is a database that performs conversion between domain
names (the portion of an e-mail addresses following the @ mark) and IP
addresses. A "DNS server address" is an ID number that has been assigned
by this DNS server.
Domain name
An Internet "address" assigned to computers or networks connected to the
Internet.
