Before You Start Package Contents • TU2-ETG • CD-ROM (Driver) • Multi-Language Quick Installation Guide System Requirements • CD-ROM drive • USB port: 2.0 or 1.1 Supported Operating Systems CPU Memory Windows 7 (32/64-bit) 1GHz or above 1GB RAM or above Windows Vista (32/64-bit) 800MHz or above 512MB RAM or above... - Page 4 2. How to Install Note: Do not connect the TU2-ETG to your computer until instructed to do so. 1. Insert the Driver CD-ROM into your CD-ROM Drive. 2. Click Run Autorun.exe (Windows 7/Vista Only) 3. Click Install Driver. Then select your operating system.
- Page 5 5. Click Exit. 6. Remove the driver CD-ROM from your computer's CD-ROM drive. 7. Connect the Adapter to an available USB port of your computer. 8. Drivers will install automatically. 9. Connect a RJ-45 cable from the Adapter to a Switch, Router or Cable/DSL Modem.
- Page 6 What should I do? Make sure you are using CAT-5e or CAT-6 Ethernet Cables. Some CAT-5 cables are not rated to run in Gigabit. If you still encounter problems or have any questions regarding the TU2-ETG, please contact TRENDnet's Technical Support Department.
