But, if you remove the battery just for a few
seconds (e.g. quickly change SIM card), the
system either won't ask you to reset the time
and date or if prompted, you can choose BACK
on the time and date screen, the clock will
only be slightly affected.

Before you can use
your phone, you
need to completely
charge the battery.
New batteries are
not fully charged.
Plug the Mini-USB
cord into your
phone and an electrical outlet or a PC. Your
phone displays Charge Complete when finished.

Insert the charger.
Your Motorola phone may be charged via a PC
USB port. Some PCs require driver software
(which is not included in the box, but can be
obtained at
www.motorola.com
order to provide charging. The actual charge
rate is dependent on the capability for your PC
and may take approximately 12 hours to
completely charge your phone.
Tip: You cannot overcharge your battery. It
will perform best after you fully charge and
discharge it a few times.
New batteries are shipped partially charged.
Before you can use your phone, install and
charge the battery as described below. Some
batteries perform best after several full
charge/discharge cycles.
