Answering a Call
Note: You can make an emergency call even when the phone
is locked, or when a SIM card is not inserted (see page 69).
7.12 Answering a Call
When you receive a call, your phone rings and/or vibrates
and displays an incoming call message.

divert the call to your voicemail or call
divert number, as though your line
was busy

end the call and "hang up" the phone
when you are finished
7.13 Changing the Call Alert
To set your Ring Style, press
> Ring Styles (see page 61).
Shortcut: In the home screen, press the volume keys up or
down to quickly change your ring style profile. With your
phone closed, press a volume key to see your ring style
profile, press the smart key to change it, then press a volume
key to store the change.

7.14 Viewing Your Phone Number
To view your phone number from the home screen, press
K #
.
While you are on a call, press Options > My Tel. Numbers.
Note: Your phone number must be stored on your SIM card
to use this feature. To store your phone number on the SIM
card, see page 61. If you do not know your phone number,
contact your service provider.
