Charging the Battery
7.8 Charging the Battery
New batteries are shipped partially charged. Before using
your phone, please install and fully charge the battery as
described below. Some batteries perform best after several
full charge/discharge cycles.

Plug the charger
into your phone.

Plug the other end of the charger into the appropriate
electrical outlet.
When your phone indicates Charge complete, remove the

charger.
Battery Charging Indicator
Tip: You can safely leave the charger connected to your
phone after charging is complete. This will not damage the
battery.
7.9 Turning Your Phone On

Press and hold
2 seconds or until the display
turns on.

If you want to use a User Account, press
to the User Account you want. Then press the Select
key to select the account from the list (stored on the
SIM card).

If you are prompted, enter your SIM card PIN code
and press the Ok key to unlock the SIM card.
Caution: If you enter an incorrect PIN code 3 times in
a row, your SIM card is disabled and your phone
displays SIM Blocked.
