A Quick Guide to Your First Call

Basic Steps to Using Your Phone
This brief section provides a quick start guide to using your
phone. The steps provided here will allow you to use your
phone immediately.
The assumptions made here are that your battery is charged
and fitted, and that you have a SIM card registered with a
Cellular Service Provider. Each of the following steps is covered
in greater detail later in this section.

If not already installed, insert the SIM card into your phone.

Fully extend the antenna.

Switch on your phone by pressing S .

If requested, enter your Personal Identification Number by
pressing A O.
If your phone displays the message:
Enter Phone Unlock
B O.
Make your call by pressing CO

Answer a call by pressing O.
End your call by pressing O.

Getting Started

GSM Emergency Calls
The worldwide GSM network provides a standard number,
112, to dial in cases of emergency.
Provided that your phone has found a network, you will be
able to make an emergency call. The call can be made with or
without a SIM card inserted and regardless of any security
codes.
The emergency call will be directed to a central emergency
operator.
To dial the GSM emergency number, press
112O.
While the emergency call is being made and connected, the
display will show Emergency.
Language Selection
Your phone will automatically switch to the language
associated with your SIM card. If you wish to change the
display language follow these steps:

End any current calls and/or leave the menus by use of the
C key.
Press the M, 2, 6 and O keys in sequence,

this will select the 'Language Selection' menu.
Repeatedly press the M key, until the language you want

is shown.
Press the O key to select the new display language.

All further display messages will now be in the selected language.
