Possible cause
Receiver's squelch threshold is adjusted too
high
Transmitter's RF signal is too weak
One of the antennas is not correctly
connected
Antennas are not optimally positioned
Possible solution
Reduce the squelch threshold (see page 17).
Increase the transmission power of the
transmitter.
Reduce the distance between transmitter
and receiving antennas.
Check the antenna cables or the antennas.
Reposition the antennas.
