Problem
The coffee is not hot
enough.
The machine does not
start to brew the coffee.

Cause
The coffee has sat in the jug for
too long after brewing.
A cold cup reduces the
temperature of the drink.
Limescale or coffee residues can
build up inside your coffee jug
during use.
The sensor window inside the
machine is dirty.
There is too much water in the jug. Do not fill the jug
above the MAX indicator (see 'Brewing Turkish
coffee').
There is no ground coffee in the jug. To brew coffee,
make sure to fill the jug with water and ground
coffee (see 'Brewing Turkish coffee').
The machine switches off to standby.
The plug is inserted.
The jug is inserted into the machine.
The machine is brewing coffee.
The coffee is ready.
Solution
Serve the coffee immediately after the
machine has finished brewing.
Preheat the cups by rinsing them with hot
water.
Clean your jug after every use (see
'Cleaning after every use'). If limescale has
built up inside the jug, descale it (see 'Deep
cleaning').
Clean the sensor window with a damp
cloth.
