NOTE:
* Connect
the digital output
terminals
to a stereo
amplifier
connect to CD input audio terminals. Also, when not making a
digital connection, do not connect the plug.

The digital output terminal does not allow fade-in and fade-out
volume control.
Connect the power cord
insert the power cord plug into the auxiliary AC outlet for your
amplifier unit, or into a household wali outlet.
OPERATION BY REMOTE CONTROL OF
STEREO AMPLIFIER
When
a Stereo
amplifier
with
the Pioneer sR mark
is used,
connect the control terminal on the rear panel of the player to the
corresponding
terminal
on the amplifier.
This will enable the
player to be controlled from a distance, with the remote control
unit supplied with the stereo amplifier. When this feature is not
used, connection is not necessary.
© The remote contol unit can be used for PLAY, STOP, PAUSE,-
TRACK SEARCH and DISC change operations.
* The control cord is supplied with the piayer.
¢ For instructions
regarding connection
and operation,
please
refer to the operating
instruction
manual
for your
stereo
amplifier.
NOTE:
° The player's remote sensor does not function when a plug is
inserted in the CONTROL IN jack. To operate, point the remote
control unit to the stereo amplifier.
¢ Make
sure
to connect
the control
cord
to OUT jack
of
CONTROL and IN jack of other components. Both plugs should
be inserted correctly. Never keep the one of the plugs being
unplugged.
*
When
only
the
coaxial
or optical
output
is connected,
the
remote sensor of the amplifier does not function. To operate it,
connect
the
output
cable
to the stereo
amplifier
as welf as
connecting the digital output.
