@ Dubbing from tape deck 1 to tape deck 2
1. Set the REC OUT selector to the TAPE 1 > 2 position.
2. Set the tape deck 1 to the play mode and set the tape
deck 2 to the record mode.
3. Adjust the recording level with the Record Level control
on the tape deck 2.
@ Dubbing from tape deck 2 to tape deck 1
1. Set the REC OUT selector to the TAPE 2 > 1 position.
2. Set the tape deck 2 to the play mode and set the tape
deck 1 to the record mode.
. 3. Adjust the recording level with the Record Level control
on the tape deck 1.
To record a program source other than the source being listened to (viewed)

With the REC OUT selector, you can record the required
source sound while listening to (and watching) another
source.
Also with the dubbing function incorporated, the following
operations are available.
@ Recording a digital source while listening to (and watch-
ing) an analog source
@) Recording an analog source while listening to (and watch-
ing) a digital source
@ Tape-to-tape dubbing while listening to (and watching)
an analog source
@ Tape-to-tape dubbing while listening to (and watching)
a digital source
© Recording FM broadcasts while listening to (and watch-
ing) an analog or digital source
@ Recording a digital sound from the compact
disc while watching an analog video program
1. Press the ANALOG switch. At this time, since the digi-
tal circuit does not function, in this setting, set the DAC
switch on the rear panel to the UNSWITCHED position
to activate the digital circuit.
. Set the ANALOG input selector to the TAPE 2/VIDEO po-
sition.
. Set the REC OUT selector to the DIGITAL position.
. Set the DIGITAL input selector to the CD/VDP1 position.
. Operate the CD player.
. Operate the tape deck to set to the record mode.
. Play the VCR.
