OFF:
Setto this position when listening to the sound with
stereo headphones only.
A:
Set to this position when listening to the sound with
the speakers connected to the SPEAKERS A ter-
minals.
B:
Set to this position when listening to the sound with
the speakers connected to the SPEAKERS B ter-
minals.
A+B:
Set to this position when listening to the two pairs
of speakers connected to both SPEAKERS A and B
terminals simultaneously.
BB Using the stereo headphones
Insert the headphone plug into the PHONES jack and set the
SPEAKERS select switch to the OFF position.
@ SAMPLING
FREQUENCY indicators
These indicators are used to show the sampling frequency
(32 kHz, 44 kHz or 48 kHz) of the digital signal currently
selected.
@ CARTRIDGE select switch
When playing the phonograph records with the turntable,
set this switch appropriately according to the cartridge used
in the turntable.
Press this switch to ON when the MC (moving coil) type
cartridge is used in the turntable.

B@ Listening to broadcasts
1. Press the ANALOG
switch.
2. Set the ANALOG input selector to the TUNER position.
3. Operate the tuner to tune to the required broadcast
station.
4. Adjust the volume level and the tone as required.
@ Listening to the phonograph records
1. Press the ANALOG
switch.
2. Set the ANALOG input selector to the PHONO position.
3. Set the CARTRIDGE select switch according to the car-
tridge used in the turntable.
4. Operate the turntable.
5. Adjust the volume level and the tone as required.
@ Playing the CD player or video disc player (VDP
1)
1. Press the ANALOG
switch.
2. Set the ANALOG input selector to the CD/VDP11 postion.
3. Operate the CD player or videodisc player.

Picture from the videodisc player will appear on the mo-
nitor TV connected
to the DA-9010.
4. Adjust the volume level and the tone as required.
