» Set screen timeout: After setting the lock type, tap

» Hide your pattern or PIN: After setting a pattern or PIN, tap

turn it on. Then your phone will not show a flashing animation on the numbers you're tapping.

Unlock with your fingerprint
You can use the fingerprint sensor (see

Find it: Swipe up from the home screen and tap

Tip: You need to set a backup screen lock first such as a pattern, PIN, or password before adding a
fingerprint.
» Enroll your fingerprint: Follow the on-screen prompts to record your fingerprint. When finished,

» Add more fingerprints: Tap Add fingerprint. You can add up to 5 fingerprints.
» Remove your fingerprint: Tap
