Taking Photos

Turn the lens dial to turn on the power. Battery icon,
film counter, and color effects (if set) will light up on
the Mode indicator.
* Flash icon (shown above) will blink. While it is
blinking, the flash is charging and unable to shoot.

For vertical shooting, turn the
camera vertically and use the
shutter button on the front of
the camera.
For horizontal shooting, use
the shutter button on the
side of the camera.
Confirm the composition and press the shutter button.
• Make sure that the shoulder strap and/or your fingers do not cover the flash sensor, AE light sensor, flash lampface, lens,
or film ejection slot. (See pages 6-7 to see where these camera features are located on the camera body).
• When looking through the viewfinder, ensure the
page 15 for details).
• Viewfinder shading in Macro mode does not affect shooting.

The number on the film counter on the Mode indicator
decreases in numerical order, counting down from "10"
with each photo taken. "0" will be displayed when the
film is finished and after the last film sheet has been
used (i.e. the 10th photo has been taken).

When the sound of the film being ejected stops, grasp
the edge of the ejected film and remove the photo
from the camera.

• Film development time is
approximately 90 seconds. (The
time varies depending on the
ambient temperature.)
