CHECK BEFORE CALLING FOR THE SERVICE

■ Basic checks
• Aren't the batteries flat?
• Is the polarity of the batteries correct?
• Have you set SYNC INPUT/OUTPUT select
switch (on the back panel) to the OUTPUT
position?
• Have you connected the headphones, guitar
and amplifier correctly?
• Is the Power switch on?
• Have you turned the Volume Control knob
and the Instrument Mix Control knob to the
right (("»?
• Have you been operating the TR-606 correct¬
ly?
■ Checking examples
The troubles of the TR-606 are usually caused
by wrong operation procedure. The following
examples of the trouble symptoms are con¬
sidered to be particularly tricky.
When you come across the symptoms which are
excluded from those examples, please check
and repeat the operations according to the
operation manual.
The Ryhthm Pattern which you want
to wire cannot be written. The written
pattern does not match other patterns
in tempo and time.
When the MODE SELECTOR is set to
the PATTERN position and TR-606 is
in RUN condition, the indicators do not
light up one after another and the
Pattern is not played correctly.
Writing into the Track is not done as
you desire.
While the Track is being played, it is
not correctly repeated.
While the Track is being played, it does
not begin from the 1st measure.
Have you set the LAST STEP properly
and selected the SCALE correctly?
Have you written the Rhythm Pattern
correctly? Specially make sure that you
have set the LAST STEP correctly.
