Classifying Discs

By specifying a group into which your discs
are registered, you can enjoy group play in
each playing mode:
¢ Continous mode
All discs in the group are played consecu-
tively.
¢ ALL DISCS Shuffie mode
A disc is selected at random from the
group, then all the selections on the disc
are played in random order.
¢ 1 DISC Shuffle mode
All the selections on the specified disc in
the group are played in random order.
¢ Program mode
If you specify a group before you make a
program, you can make the program from
the discs in the group. If the program
currently stored contains selections from
two or more groups. you cannot perform
group play in program mode.
1 Press one of the GROUP 1-10 buttons
to select the group.
(You can also select the group using the
remote commander. Press GROUP and
enter the group number using the
numeric buttons, then press ENTER on
the remote commander.)
If discs are registered into the group. the
indicator flashes red, then the player
prompts you to select a disc in the
group. If no disc belongs to the group.
~NO ENTRY- appears in the display.
2 Press > or rotate the JOG dial to
select the disc, then press ENTER.
The GROUP indicator lights up red and
group play starts.

Note when selecting discs in a
group
The disc numbers included in the group
appear as you rotate the JOG dial in order.
if "-ENTRY END-" appears. rotate the dial
in reverse. The disc numbers appear in
reverse order.
To cancel group play
Press one of the GROUP 1-10 buttons with
the indicator lit red. The indicator turns
green and group play is canceled.
To check the group name while
group playing
Press MEMO while the GROUP indicator is
lit red. Each time you press MEMO, the
group name and the current disc memo
alternate in the display.
