Playback Level for

Each Disc — Level File

You can adjust and memorize the playback
level for each disc. Each time you play a
disc containing a Level File, the LINE OUT/
PHONE LEVEL control is set automatically
adjusted to the level you specified. This
function is available when an amplifier is
connected to the VARIABLE LINE OUT
jacks or when you use headphones.
The Level File is activated only when the
disc is set to the playing position and
"DISC HOLD" lights up in the display. It
is not activated when the UNLOAD
button indicator is lit.

Playback Level

1 Select the disc and press ENTER.
Playback starts.
2 Adjust the LINE OUT/PHONE LEVEL
contro! to your desired playback
level.
3 Press LEVEL FILE.
"LEVEL FILE" appears in the display.
The current playback level is
memorized.
if you change the playback level
while playing
Press UNLOAD, then >. The LINE OUT/
PHONE LEVEL control automatically
adjusts to the memorized playback level.
Clearing the Level File

1 Select the disc containing the level
file you want to clear, then press
ENTER.
The selected disc is set to the playing
position.
2 Press LEVEL FILE, then press ERASE
before "LEVEL FILE" in the display
disappears.
"FILE ERASE" appears and the level file
for the current disc is cleared.
Nate on Level File
This function is not available when you use the
DIGITAL OUT (OPTICAL) connector or the FIXED
LINE OUT jacks.
