COPYING A COMPACT DISC ONTO A TAPE
MULTI-MODE A.S.E.S.
(Auto Synchro Editing System)

This function only operates when a stereo amplifier (A-Z360,
A-2460 or A-Z560) and a cassette deck (CT-Z360WR,
CT-
Z460QWR or CT-Z5GOWR) are combined.

@ The twin-tray compact disc player searches for the peak level
af the disc, the double cassette
deck automatically
sets the
recasding level (it is not necessary to operates the recording level
adjustment knob).

Three types of recording functions can be selected: Normal/Fine
Editing, Fade Editing, Disco Editing. In order to make recording
as near to the end of the tape as possible, with the Fine Editing
function the CD player automatically programs the playback ord-
er of the tracks.
® Three types of recording functions can be selected with the cas-
setie deck: Relay recording, Parallel recording and recording with
DECK ff only.

Load a disc in the CD player.
When using 2 discs with the A.S.E.S., put one disc in disc tray
! and the other in disc tray IL
When you want to copy in a desired order, program the ord-
er. However, when you select relay A.S.E.S., programming
is not possible.

Insert a tape for recording in the deck.
As the recording is started in the forward (>) direction, con-
firm that the tape is inserted properly.
When selecting relay A.S.E.S. or parallel A.S.E.S., insert one
tape in DECK | and one in DECK

Select REV MODE switch and DOLBY NR switch
on the cassette deck.

: When recording on one side of the tape only.

Create the sound quality of your liking with the
graphic equalizer.
lf you call up the special features of the equalizer with CAR
STEREO key or HEADPHONE
STEREO key, you can produce
tapes with a sound quality that is suited to each of the units.
By using the Memory Call key to call up the features preset
in the equalizer's memory
or the equalizer features that you
yourself have memorized, you can adjust the sound quality.

Select ASES MODE key on the cassette deck.
