®@ During stop mode, a pause can be programmed instead of a track
number. If [ff] key @ is pressed. ''PA'' will be displayed instead
of a track number. In this case, the pause indicator will not light.
Exampie 1
When recording on both sides of a cassette tape, enter a pause af-
ter the last track that can be recorded on the first side. This will
allow a pause for changing the
ette side. Recording can then
resume on the second side.
Example 2
During a tape recording, a pause programmed between tracks will
produce a silent recording. A narration, etc., can then be inserted
before recording the next track.
NOTE:

A pause cannot be programmed as the first program step (O17).
Twe consecutive pauses also cannot be programmed.

A pause can be programmed for the last program step, however,
it wil nat be effective.

B@ When the disc tray is open:
Pragrams can be entered to memory. Although the pragramming
procedure is the same as described above, the indicator displays
programmed
information step-by-step. When the disc tray is
closed with a disc loaded, any prograramed tracks not on the
disc will be deleted automatically from the program.
Playback operation
® Playback is possible during program mode.

Press [D>] key (2 to start playback.
When programmed during normal playback, the player will au-
tomatically enter the program mode after the currently play-
ing track ends
@ If a pause has been programmed, the pause will take ef-
fect at the beginning of the track following the pause pro-
gram step. To restart programmed playback, press either
iD] key 2 or IMM} key "1.

End of playback.
When the last program step is finished playing, track number
will be displayed at the first program step and the player will
enter the stop mode.
Operation example
® To start playback:

Program memory and program clear
®@ During programmed playback, pressing PROGRAM key © again
wiil turn off the [PGM] indicator and the programmed playback
will be cancelled.
However,
normal piayback will continue. In
this case, the program remains in memory. (Program memory)
® Torecail a stored program, press PROGRAM
key (9) again. The
player will enter the program input mode and the stored pro-
gram will be entered.

@ Pressing OPEN/CLOSE keys '3. will stop playback. (The stored
program of the disc comes out will also be cleared.)
® Pressing {
] key 13 will stop playback. In this case, the stored
program will not be cleared. While in stop mode, pressing [ 0 J
key @ again will clear the program.
