Taking panoramic pictures
Usepanoramato "stitch" up to 3 picturesinto a panoramicscene.
NOTE: For b est r esults, use atripod. I ndividual pictures are notsaved, even ifpanorama capture is
cancelled before s titching occurs. (Picture size isset t o 3.1MP foreach picture. Exposure
Compensation, White Balance, AF Zone, AFControl, andColor M ode a reset w iththefirstpicture.
The flash isset t oOff.)
1 Turnthe Modedial to SCN.
2 Press _/_ on the 4-way button to highlight PanoramaLeft-Rightor Panorama
Right-Left(dependingon the directionyou want to pan),then pressthe OK
button.
3 Take the first picture.
After a quickview, t heLCOdisplays the/iveviewandan "overlay"from thefirstpicture.
4 Composethe secondpicture.Makethe overlayfrom the first picturecoverthe
sameportion in the new picture.(Youcan pressthe Deletebutton to re-takea
picture.)
5 If you are taking only 2 pictures,pressthe OK button to stitch them together.
After you take3 pictures, t hepicturesareautomatically s titchedtogether.TheLCD
displays a quickview for approximately 5 seconds.
Take 2 or 3
pictures,
Get 1 panoramic
picture.
