Usethe LCDto frameyour subject.
Press Telephoto(T)to zoom in. Press WideAngle
(W)to zoom out.

Asyou zoom, you needto movefurther from
yoursubject.
Usedigital zoom in any Still modeor during video recordingto get up to 5X
magnificationbeyondoptical zoom for a combinedzoom of 15X.
1 Press Telephoto(T)to the maximumoptical zoom limit. Release the button, then
pressit again.
2 Take the picture.
NOTE: You may notice decreased image q uality w hen using d igital z oom. The slider o nthezoom indicator
turns red when thepicture q uality r eaches thelimit f oranacceptable 4 x6-in. ( 10x 15cm) print.
