SETUP
(1) Slide the PC Card release lever down (®), then
slide the PC Card slightly to the left to free it from
its locked position (@), then open (@).
(2) Lift up the battery compartment lid to take it off
(®©). Insert the battery with the (-) terminal to-
wards the top end of the camera. Then close the
battery compartment lid.
(3) Pull the SmartMedia Eject lever to open the lid
(®©). With the front side (the side with gold on it)
facing toward front of the camera, insert the
SmartMedia card as far as possible (©). Then
close the lid (©).
(4) Close the PC Card, then slide PC Card to the
right to lock in place (@).
