High-frequency ba ery chargers 'Universal Loading Chargers' are designed by POLAR srl for use
in industrial environments. Par cular a en on has been paid to sa sfying the requirements
of the different market applica ons. Inverter ba ery chargers, for charging all types of ba eries,
with the possibility of selec ng voltage, current, charging curve, and charging dura on.
Universal Loading Charger is suitable for charging and desulpha ng ba eries from 100 to 1000 Ah,
2, 6, 12, 24, 36, 48, 64, 72, and 80V with buffer maintenance stage, for safe charging of ba eries
connected to vehicles with electronic control units.
The environment in which the ba ery charger is installed must meet the minimum requirements
to ensure the safety of the operator and the perfect func oning of the device, therefore it must be:
dry, ven lated and not dusty.
In rela on to its degree of protec on, the charger must not be exposed to splashing water or rain.
The charger must not be installed in places that are considered hazardous in rela on to the present,
such as:
- Chemical and wood processing industries where there are flammable products.
- Ceramic industries, due to the large presence of dust.
- Food and meat processing industries, due to the large presence of water and humidity.
In these cases, it is necessary to install the ba ery charger in protected rooms.
Posi on the charger to ensure that the intake and exhaust openings of the forced ven la on are not
obstructed and that cooling air circula on is promoted.
For the same reason, do not accumulate various objects in proximity to the charger, and do not place
objects of any kind or containers of liquids on it.
