The RX-V2400 is a high performance, technologically advanced receiver that will provide all the power and

7-Channel High Power Amplifier
The RX-V2400 delivers 120W to each of seven
channels: two front, one center, two surround
and two surround back. 120W is far more than
enough for home theater use, allowing
considerable headroom for musical peaks,
movie explosions and other power-sapping
sounds. Equal output capability to all channels
ensures that you hear all sounds with the full
effect that the director intended.

Optimizing the Sound in
Your Room
The receiver comes supplied
with a small microphone, which you place at
listening position. Activating the function
causes a test tone to be emitted, which is
analyzed, and based on the results, the audio
output is adjusted to provide the optimum
sound for the room acoustics. The optimizer

In addition to the input and output terminals shown in the chart, the RX-V2400 provides
7-channel (front/center/surround/surround back) preout terminals, 6-channel external
decoder input terminals (8-channel compatible), a subwoofer output terminal, RS-232C
interface and remote control IR Code input/output for custom installation, and two Trigger
Outputs (+12V) for automatic power on of other components. It also offers 9-channel
speaker terminals. The detachable power cable is separate, rather than attached to the unit,
and is a thicker type than usual, for higher power handling capacity.

Custom Installation Compatibility
The RX-V2400 has numerous features that
make it ideal for use in custom
installations. It provides Zone 2 output
with selector and volume control, and
Zone 3 output with selector, so you can
enjoy audio in two additional rooms. Zone
2 output has an S-video output terminal as
well as power amp assignability. Speaker
A/B and A+B selection lets you listen to
either or both of two sets of speakers in
two locations, with Virtual CINEMA DSP
capability in Zone 2. You can also enjoy
sound from the presence (front effect)
speakers in Zone 2. Two +12V Trigger
Outputs can be used to automatically
power on Zone 2 or Zone 3 components.
Oil-Damped Hidden Control Panel includes S-Video input
and optical digital input terminals for connecting game
machines, digital equipment, and so on.
There are also two IR ports, with extended
IR code compatibility.
