Choose the DocuColor 40 CP

proﬁle

Choose Composite Printer

Color Space

Click the CMYK tab in the Default Source Proﬁles area and choose the

DocuColor 40 CP proﬁle from the Color and Image pull-down menus.

In the above illustration, choose the same DocuColor 40 CP proﬁle in both the

Destination Proﬁles and Default Source Proﬁles areas.

When using the Quark CMS XTension, QuarkXPress sends all color data to the

DocuColor 40 CP in CMYK. To avoid unwanted press simulation, set CMYK

Simulation to None. For information on CMYK Simulation and other color

management options, see Chapter 2.
