Adjusting the Sound
To fully enjoy the sound coming from your
stereo system, make the following audio
adjustments. See the sections following
this one for additional sound adjustments.
POWER—ON
VOLUME
HEADPHONES
To adjust the volume
Turn the VOLUME control or press VOL
(+/-) on the remote commander.
To reinforce bass
Press DBFB* so that the indicator lights up.
Each time you press the button, bass
reinforcement function switches on and off.
To create the atmosphere of a movie
theater or concert hall
Press S-SUR™ so that the indicator lights
up.
To listen through the headphones
Connect the headphones to
HEADPHONES jack. No sound will come
from the speakers.
* DBFB = Dynamic Bass Feedback
** S-SUR = Simulated surround

Adjusting the Sound
Quality
Adjust the graphic equalizer controls for
the right and left speakers. The right and
left channels cannot be adjusted separately.
POWER—ON | Graphic equalizer
Adjust the 5 band graphic equalizer
controls as follows.

—_— Boosts or cuts heavy bass.
400Hz
= Adjusts the potency,
Spaciousness and warmth of the
sound.
1 kHz
Provides more presence of
vocals.
+kHz
Boosts the brighter sound and
reduces the stridency.
12kHz
Highlights the delicate quality
of instrumental sound.
