    E T U P UNPACKING THE VISIONEER 7900 ® 1. Remove the scanner from its protective foam and plastic bag. 2. Remove any shipping tape from the scanner as indicated in the following illustration(s). The above illustrations are for example purposes only. Your scanner’s packaging may vary slightly.

    1. Start Microsoft Windows and make sure that no other applications are running. 2. Turn on the scanner power. The status light comes on and flashes indicating that the scanner is receiving power. 3. Go to www.visioneer.com/install 4. Launch the installer once the download is complete. User Guide...

Click Proceed. 8. The Select Language window opens. Click the drop-down menu arrow and select the language to use.

    ® Visioneer 7900 Maintenance HARDWARE PROPERTIES You can use the scanner’s properties page to keep track of scanner maintenance, change some of the hardware options, configure the scanner interface behavior, and adjust application options that may be available for your scanner.

You can remove these programs from the Windows ® Control Panel.
