BASIC OPERATION
To play a compact disc

Operations indicated by the [ LJ ] mark are performed with the
remote control unit.
1 Turn on the power to the player.
2 Press OPEN/CLOSE and load a disc.
e@ Place the disc with the label surface facing down.
3 Press PLAY to start playback.
The indicator on the PLAY button lights.
To pause playback temporarily:
Press
PAUSE.
The indicator on the PAUSE
button lights and
playback is paused at that point.
Pressing PAUSE again or PLAY resumes playback from the position
where pause mode was entered.
To stop playback:
Press STOP.

To stop playback and take out the disc:
Press OPEN/CLOSE and remove the disc.
Press OPEN/CLOSE
again to close the disc tray and then press POWER to turn off the
power.
NOTE (PD-75 only):
If a discis in the player, the program contents will not be erased even
when the power is turned off. Also, when the power is turned off
during random playback, the player memorizes the random playback
mode.
Thus, when the power is next turned on, the appropriate
playback mode resumes and playback starts automatically.

The setting of the DISPLAY button or OUTPUT button is also
stored in player's memory for about three days even when the
power is turned off.

Les fonctionnements indiqués par la marque () s'effectuent
par la télécommande.
1 Fournir l'alimentation au lecteur.
3 Presser PLAY pour commencer Ia lecture.
L'indicateur de la touche PLAY s'allume.
Pour arréter momentanément la lecture:
Presser PAUSE.
L'indicateur de la touche PAUSE s'allume et la
lecture est arrétée a ce point.
Une nouvelle pression sur PAUSE ou sur PLAY fait reprendre la
lecture a partir du point ot le mode de pause a été engagé.
Pour arréter la lecture:
Presser STOP.
Pour arréter la lecture et retirer le disque:
Presser OPEN/CLOSE et retirer le disque. Presser a nouveau OPEN/
CLOSE pour fermer le tiroir de disque puis presser POWER pour
couper |'alimentation.
REMARQUE (PD-75 seulement):
Si un disc est dans Ie lecteur, le contenu du programme ne sera pas
effacé méme quand I'alimentation est coupée.
De plus, quand
reprend et la lecture commence automatiquement.
